Kuala Lumpur International Airport has two separate terminals that handle different airlines. Make sure you know which terminal your flight arrives at before you land — pickup procedures differ between KLIA1 and KLIA2.
KLIA Terminal 1 serves Malaysia Airlines, Batik Air, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, and most full-service international carriers. After clearing immigration and collecting your baggage, follow the "Ground Transport" signs to Level 1. VT Rentals operates a meet-and-greet service at the Arrival Hall — our uniformed driver will be waiting with a signboard bearing your name.
Our Representative (+6014-3338322) will text or call you 24 hours before your arrival to brief you on which arrival gate we will be waiting. We monitor all KLIA1 arrivals in real time and will come to you.
Typical wait time from landing to vehicle handover: 25–35 minutes (subject to immigration queue length).
KLIA2 is Malaysia's dedicated budget terminal, handling AirAsia, AirAsia X, Scoot, and other low-cost carriers. It is a separate building connected to KLIA1 by the Aerotrain — if you arrive at klia2, do not walk to KLIA1 for your vehicle.
After clearing customs at klia2, head to the Ground Floor car rental area near the exit gates. Our VT Rentals representative will meet you with your vehicle keys and a signed rental agreement. The klia2 carpark is directly adjacent to the terminal — no bus or shuttle required.
Note on klia2 spelling: the official branding uses lowercase 'klia2' (not KLIA2). Both refer to the same terminal. Our bookings cover both terminals interchangeably.
KLIA is in Sepang, roughly 50 km from Kuala Lumpur city centre. Trains and buses cover the main routes into the city, but many destinations, including Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Melaka, Port Dickson and Genting, are easier to reach by car, especially when travelling with family, luggage or a late-night arrival.
